SCUBA DIVER COURSE
The PADI Scuba Diver course is the perfect choice for those short on time or looking for a more guided diving experience. Over two days, you’ll complete three confined water dives in a pool-like setting and two open water dives in the beautiful Red Sea — all under the direct supervision of a certified PADI Instructor. This entry-level certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet) when accompanied by a dive professional.
Unlike the full Open Water course, which includes five confined water sessions and four open water dives, the Scuba Diver course focuses on foundational scuba skills and safety — giving you a strong introduction to the underwater world with less theory and time commitment. It’s a great stepping stone for beginners, vacationers, or anyone who wants to test the waters before committing to full certification.
At Sub Sinai, we include all equipment, transport to dive sites, and small group instruction to ensure a personal and comfortable learning experience. Upon completion, you’ll earn a lifetime certification recognized worldwide — and you can easily upgrade to Open Water Diver at any time.
Diving Tips
Most of your open water dives will take place at shallow, sheltered reefs like Dahab’s Lighthouse or Mashraba — perfect training grounds for new divers. These sites offer sandy entry points, minimal current, and an abundance of marine life even at 5–10 meters. Expect to see colorful reef fish like butterflyfish, lionfish, and sergeant majors, along with soft coral formations and the occasional blue-spotted stingray.
The Red Sea is one of the most famous dive destinations on the planet. It boasts over 1,000 species of fish, 200 species of coral, and some of the clearest, warmest waters in the world. These ideal conditions make it a dream location for new divers, offering a calm, visually rich environment that boosts confidence and creates unforgettable first experiences underwater.
