Discover Scuba Diving

New to diving and want to see what it’s all about — without committing to a full certification? The Discover Scuba Diving experience at Sub Sinai is designed just for you. In a relaxed, 2-hour session, you'll receive a short briefing, learn a few basic underwater skills, and take your first dive in the warm, shallow waters of the Red Sea. You’ll be fully supervised by a certified PADI professional and outfitted with all necessary gear. It’s the perfect introduction for anyone curious about the underwater world.

Diving Tips

Your first dive will likely take place at Dahab’s famous Lighthouse Reef — a calm, protected bay ideal for beginners. The Red Sea is one of the saltiest and warmest bodies of water on Earth, which adds natural buoyancy and comfort to new divers. As you descend just a few meters, you'll be amazed at the marine biodiversity: vibrant corals, clownfish, blue-spotted rays, and even the occasional turtle. Dahab is part of the Great African Rift system, which has created dramatic underwater landscapes over millions of years — you're not just diving, you're time-traveling through Earth’s tectonic history.
