EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (EFR)

Emergency First Response is a non-diving course designed to teach primary and secondary care — CPR, first aid, and how to respond in emergency situations. In a single day of classroom-based training, you’ll learn life-saving techniques used both above and below water. EFR is a required step for the Rescue Diver course, and it’s an excellent skillset for anyone spending time in remote areas or around water.
At Sub Sinai, we deliver this course in a relaxed, interactive setting, using realistic scenarios and practical skill-building to ensure you're confident, calm, and capable when it matters most.

Diving Tips

While EFR isn’t a diving course, it’s a critical part of becoming a well-rounded and responsible diver. In areas like Dahab — where emergency services may be distant — divers with first aid skills can make a real difference. Being prepared adds confidence to your dives and can help prevent small issues from becoming major ones.
